Improving memory at any age

Speaker: Dr. Patti Simone

Professor Simone is a trained experimental psychologist and has worked at Santa Clara University since 1993 where her role as a faculty member emphasizes teaching and scholarship. Her research on neurocognitive development over the lifespan examines environmental and other factors that influence attention and memory in children, undergraduate students, and healthy older adults. She has or 20 publications in this field, nearly half with SCU undergraduate student co-authors.

Dr. Simone will talk about:

  • What is normal (and not normal) age-related memory loss?

  • What factors contribute to memory loss?

  • What can you do to improve memory?
