Yu-Chun Tseng (Spring 2020)

I’m Yu-Chun. I’m a graduate student studying in MBA program in University of California, Riverside. I joined the I-Corps and worked as a business consultant with Yohocare on Spring 2020. I joined this company because the idea of creating an app for seniors is not only novel but also essential to this aging society. The company’s purpose, which is to connect seniors to the community in a technological way, fulfills the needs of the elderly to stay in touch with the outside world. I’m glad I could use what I’d learned so far to help the business!  

Mitchell Banh (Spring 2021)

My name is Mitchell, and I’m a graduate student in the MBA program at the University of California, Riverside. I am grateful to have the opportunity to be part of the Yohocare team. I join Yohocare to expand my knowledge and experience while providing my unique dynamic and experiences to help improve our senior’s community to be able to stay connected through the use of technology. I feel Yohocare can bring a unique value to our seniors. This gives me a great opportunity to apply my experiences and knowledge to bring ease to the seniors.

Aadhith Karthikeyan (Fall)2023 

My name is Aadhith Karthikeyan and I am a sophomore at the University of Michigan majoring in Computer Science and Economics. I decided to join Yohocare because their mission of helping senior citizens was really inspiring and the position offered me real-world learning experiences. The opportunity to work alongside ambitious people will certainly help me grow, and I am excited to do some meaningful work!

Aanand Patel (Fall)2023 

Hey I'm Aanand Patel. I am a sophomore majoring in Computer Science at Northwestern University. Growing up in India, I was always surrounded by my grandparents which is why Yohocare's commitment to guiding the elderly resonates with me. 

Alex Crisera (Fall)2023 

Hi! My name is Alex Crisera. I am a recent graduate from Stanford University where I majored in Symbolic Systems with a concentration in Human-Computer Interactions. I joined Yohocare because I have always had an interest in healthcare since a young age, so I am eager to apply my educational background in UX research and design within that field. I am also excited by the prospect of being able to positively impact a lot of people’s lives through my work. I am looking forward to working with this amazing organization while I develop my own skills in UX research and design. 

Andrew Kong (Fall)2023 

Hello, my name is Andrew Kong and I’m a student at the University of California, Riverside pursuing a degree in Business Administration and concentrating in Analytics and Information Systems! I will be graduating in 2026 in hopes to become a Data Analyst. Having a keen interest in research and technology, I am passionate about improving the lifestyle of others as health is one of the most important parts of your life. I am ecstatic to be a part of Yohocare and am looking forward to sharpening my skills and making a positive impact in my community! 

Desirea Eckhoff (Fall)2023 

Hello! My name is Desirea Eckhoff and I'm currently in my fourth year studying Anthropology at the University of Chicago. I will be graduating this upcoming summer in June of 2024. I joined Yohocare because I'm interested in improving the social and cultural attitudes towards accessible healthcare in the U.S. The company's goal to create an app for elderly people to not only be proactive towards improving their health, but also creating an accessible online healthcare community is one I care deeply about. I'm hoping I will be able aid Yohocare's team with their goal using my background language and culture while developing more skills along the way!

Eric Qiao (Fall)2023 

Hey! My name is Eric Qiao and I'm a sophomore studying Business Administration with a minor in Statistics at the University of Michigan, expecting to graduate in 2026. I joined Yohocare because, as someone with a passion in powerlifting,  I can resonate with the organization's goals to help others' health. Through exercise and the growing sector tech, bettering people's lives mentally and physically is a project that excites me. I hope to positively impact my community while developing analytical skills!

Kevin Siegel (Fall)2023 

My name is Kevin Siegel and I graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Virginia Tech in 2017 and currently a graduate student with John Hopkins University's Advanced Academic Program; with JHU, I'm working towards a degree in the liberal arts with a particular focus on history with a particular enjoyment on antiquity, religious studies, and the European Renaissance with a prospective graduation year in 2025. I joined Yohocare as an intern because I was impressed with their humanistic mission in assisting older patients with medical and cognitive problems. I hope to learn as much as possible from the organization and my team to improve the application's functioning and outreach to more patients. I was originally born in Venezuela and can also speak Spanish fluently. I also greatly enjoy knitting, reading, bottle ship building, and running. 

Qingqing Jiang (Fall)2023 

Hello, I'm Qingqing Jiang, and I am majoring in Finance at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, with an anticipated graduation date in 2024. I am glad to become a part of the Yohocare family and contribute my financial expertise and strategic business acumen to our organization. My aspiration is not only to support the company's growth but also to gain valuable experience as a vital member of our financial team. Collaborating with Yohocare and its dynamic teams is an exciting prospect, and I look forward to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

Tara Zhou (Fall)2023 

Hello, my name is Tara Zhou and I am delighted to join the Yohocare team as a UX/UI Design Intern! I am a recent graduate of a UX/UI Design program at the University of California, Berkeley and I also previously studied Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems at the University of California, Riverside for my undergraduate degree. I am beyond excited to be a part of a mission that seeks to encourage the importance of personal health and make that experience user-friendly and accessible. I hope to add value to this wonderful organization and simultaneously learn and develop my skillset as a UX Designer!

Timothy Wu (Summer)2022 

Hello, my name is Timothy Wu and I am currently a Business Administration Major, with a concentration in marketing, at the University of California Riverside. I am expected to graduate around June 2023. I decided to join Yohocare because I believed that this would be a great opportunity to further my studies in marketing and social media marketing/management. In addition, I love the goals that Yohocare is trying to achieve and I believe this is a great place for me to be. Some fun facts about myself are that I love hiking, camping, playing football, and surfing! I am a very outgoing person and would love to make more connections! 

Thien Le  (Summer 2021)

Hello! My name is Thien Le and I’m majoring in Design at Carnegie Mellon University with minors in Human-Computer Interaction and Social and Political History, graduating in 2024. I am a designer that is interested in creating meaningful and beautiful digital experiences that can address social problems through the use of research, empathy, and visual design. I am excited to work with Yohocare to create a platform that gives senior citizens access to stay connected to their community and family. 

Sharon Ren (Summer 2021)

Hello! My name is Sharon Ren, and I am currently a rising sophomore studying Business Administration at Carnegie Mellon University, with an expected graduation year in 2024. I joined Yohocare because I want seniors to be able to experience and enjoy the same advantages that we get from technology, from staying connected with our friends and family to keeping updated with current events and news. I am so excited to be contributing to this cause and I can't wait to work with the other members of Yohocare!

Hi! My name is Sihan Wu and I'm a student majoring in Information Systems and Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University, expecting to graduate in 2023. I'm looking forward to joining Yohocare because of the mission to help create an accessible digital platform for elders to stay connected with their community. Hello! I am a sophomore at UC Berkeley majoring in Cognitive Science. I deeply believe in the mission of Yohocare due to my close relationship with my grandparents and my appreciation for community, mental and physical health, and technological knowledge. I hope to contribute my skills towards these values and learn as much as possible from this internship.

Rita Li (Spring 2021)

Hi! I am Rita Li from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I am a sophomore and my major is Economics and Finance. I am excited to join Yohocare to work with the fantastic team for the incredible mission! Working with a group of caring, positive and nice people to help the aged will definitely be an enjoyable and meaningful experience. Adrinah Ung  (Spring 2021)

Hello my name is Adrinah Ung! I am currently an undergraduate student attending the University of California, Riverside for Business Administration - with an expected graduation year in 2023. I wanted to be involved with a company that advocates for personal wellness and helps seniors achieve positive engagement within their community. Health is an important topic in our growing tech-based society and I’m hoping to contribute by helping to improve productivity and efficiency along the way. 

Daphne Chan (Winter 2020)

Hi! I am Daphne Chan and I am an undergraduate student at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, majoring in Global China Studies. My expected year of graduation is 2023. I joined Yohocare is because I think the aims of the company are meaningful and I think it can make a difference for the elderly after they retired. Also, I want to have hands-on experience in working with a start-up. It’s my honor to be a part of the team. 

Karina Lee (Winter 2020)

Hello! I'm Karina Lee. I am a Computer Science with Business Applications student at the University of California, Riverside, expecting to graduate in 2022. I joined Yohocare because I wanted to contribute to a start-up with a mission that I believed in. For Yohocare, their mission is to help seniors connect with their community through the power of technology. I think that this is incredibly empowering for seniors who feel isolated from their loved ones, and it is a cause that I want to be a part of. I'm excited to be working alongside some incredible people at Yohocare, and I look forward to making an impact with their team. 

Taylor Lee (Winter 2020)

Hello! My name is Taylor Lee and I’m a Political Science/ International Affairs major at the University of California Riverside and am expected to graduate in 2021. Now more than ever, technology connects us all. Since we live in such a tech-centered society, it inevitably marginalizes older generations. I’m genuinely excited to work with Yohocare because I think it’s really important to create an inclusive community that creates a platform which enables seniors to stay connected to their families, friends, community, and environment. 

Alondra Mateo (Winter 2020)

Alondra is an undergraduate student at the University of California, Riverside(UCR). She is studying Mathematics and is set to graduate in the Spring of 2021. She was previously the Vice President at The Society of Women Engineers at UCR where she worked on community outreach and team management. Alondra joined Yohocare because their mission of motivating seniors to stay connected through technology aligns with her passion of helping the community. She is excited to connect with the senior community and gain valuable marketing skills through this learning opportunity. 

Ben Fong (Fall 2020)

I'm Ben Fong. I am an undergraduate student attending the University of California, Riverside. I am currently studying Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I decided to pursue Marketing because it is a growing field that will allow me to work with other talented individuals, as well as giving me the opportunity in helping businesses grow and succeed. I wanted to be a part of Yohocare because working with start-ups allows me to make an impact on the company, and because of Yohocare's intentions of helping seniors stay happy and active in their later years of life. It also seemed like a great opportunity for me to learn from talented and knowledgeable people.

My name is Rachana Joshi. I am an undergraduate student at the University of California, Riverside. I am majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems and am going to graduate in 2021. I am pleased to have the opportunity to be part of the Yohocare team. I joined Yohocare to apply my skills to a good cause and gain the experience of being part of a team that is passionate and devoted to helping the senior community stay connected to the world using technology. Jenne Martinez (Fall 2020)

Hi! My name is Jenne Martinez and I am a 4th year Sociology major at the University of California, Riverside. I will be graduating in June of 2021 with my BA. I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to work with Yohocare because their mission is so important and meaningful to me. The senior citizen community needs more resources and support and I cannot wait to help them in this area. I think that this will be a great way for me to utilize the skills I currently have while still gaining more knowledge on others. I am so excited to be working with Yohocare and their amazing team!

In a technology-driven world, creating connections and interactions among the 55+ community through technology is very important. Julie Xu (Fall 2020)

My name is Julie Xu. I am a sophomore at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, majoring in Economics. It’s my great honor to be a part of Yohocare! I was so appealed by the cool vision and mission of this incredible company, which is to create more connections and interactions among the elderly through technology. Hulbert Zeng (Fall 2020)

My name is Hulbert Zeng. I am an undergraduate student at the University of California, Riverside, majoring in Philosophy and minoring in Computer Science, and will be graduating in 2022. I joined Yohocare because I find their mission of helping the elderly stay socially connected and healthy through technology to be truly important and it is my pleasure to be a part of this mission. This could also be a great opportunity to put my skills to practical use and learn from more experienced software engineers.

My name is Tiffany Ton. I am an undergraduate student at University of California, Riverside and expect to graduate in 2021. I am studying Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems and a minor in Applied Statistics. Noah Weinstein (Summer 2020)

I am Noah Weinstein, I use he/him pronouns, I am a Senior at UC Berkeley majoring in Cognitive Science and minoring in both Data Science and Theater. World stability and Covid-19 permitting, I hope to graduate spring of 2021! I joined Yohocare because I saw it as an opportunity to help fill a need in a technologically underserved community, the elderly, and as a way to gain experience utilizing skills I have learned during past research tenures and my studies. I hope to bring a laid-back but professional attitude to the team!
